New Life in Laajasalo, June-July 2011

On 10th of June I moved to 72 m2 city flat in East Helsinki, Laajasalo
with my boyfriend Duncan.
Here's some first pictures from our new home.

Since last winter my life has changed radically to something I'd call happy.

I've started to live like a housewife. Baking pies and so on.

BERRY-MIX PIE
is the first one I made.
very delicious

"Lallallaaa, me so happy!"

One of our first quests, Leena "the gardner" brought us 4 tomatoe and 6 paprika plants.
(the tomatoes you can see above)
I had 2 tomatoes today, they were yummy.

This is how our haircolour sessions turned out for Duncan

At first we didn't have any toys for Dave but luckily we had just moved in
so that he got some boxes to destroy.

"Hihihi.."

Our first meal at home, Duncan's chicken salad.

The very first pictures from the day we moved.
(above and below)

"Bye bye Kumpula!"

Mum holding my plants and Dad driving, like a maniac, as usual.
That's why the pictures are so sobby.

something in the winter 2010

Kaikki on uskosta kiinni. Usko kasvattaa ajatukset ja unelmat tosiksi. Elämä on merkityksellistä, hyvää, minulla on merkitystä. Minne helvettiin se usko oli kadonnut, miksi ja miten?

I've been wondering about some crucial things during this winter.
Staying at home, eating, sleeping and freezing.
There's a lot of wasted time behind me.
But fortunately behind and I feel now there's still a lot of good things to find.
And that was a rhyme.

Haven't been making many photos lately,
only with a crappy film camera from 1990's
that I got from Auntie Pirjo for Christmas.

New York 20th Aug - 2nd Sept 2010

Born-hipsters

It was Fanny's 1st night, that we took a ferry to Staten Island.
She was suffering from a terrible jet lag.
Which was funny!

While girls had burgers, Toni had a salad.

Ida sure knows her place.
And that's not the trash.

One day we did some laundry.

I just fell in love with the endless city of everything.
I wanna move to NYC one day.
