the days and nights after all - funeral party of Via Crucis and the end of it

Sunday evening, after 12 hours of celebrating, there was a hint of a storm in the air.
But it never came, at least I did not notice.

Our hard core team of six became somewhat famous in the classical karaoke pub, Pataässä.
Between 9-12 a.m. we (or I) sang most of the time.

Jos sä tahdot
Levoton tuhkimo
Jolene
Kolmatta linjaa (with Timbe)
Piste
something (GREAT!) from Greenday (with Timbe)
One way or another - as a farewell song for Joni, who were sent home after falling a sleep, just a little

On the streets of Kruunuhaka.
Together alone.

Slowly getting out, heading to a morning karaoke, waiting for the doors to open at 9 a.m.
Enjoying the last drops of wine in the morning fog.

spiders. From Mars?

Timbe sai arkin.

Quite a few performances were held at the after party at church's basement.
JariKari and Tuomas performing Arkki.

Joni found a new friend, Kyösti. Love at first sight?

Easter Time 2010 - making of Via Crucis, the path of pain and joy

On the premier (first of the two performances) day one of the actors got sick. As an assistant of the director I was the one to jump on stage. Without any hard feelings, I dressed myself into gold and Burberry, to the role of Kaifas and got ready to convict the troublemaker!

Hannas and Kaifas, Juha Muje and Jussi Lampi.
The evil priests to convict Jesus to crusification.

The yearly Easter theatre production VIA CRUCIS
had all together almost 100 participants, about 60-70 of them being actors. Partly professionals, partly amateurs/ theatre students and partly volunteers without any previous experiences. Here a couple of my favourite elderly volunteers.

One of the disciples getting crazy.

Jesaja, Kamu Tonila aka Toni Kamula and Maria Magdalena, Eeva Putro. Being naughty..

Amron, my favourite little drummer.

Jesus and some of his/her disciples, all ready to go, still smiling.

I just fell in love with one of the tapes of the sound guys..

The evil Ari Suzuki as Judas.
Belove all the three scenes on the 1st of April, night before the premier:

Tuomiokirkko in "my (PINK) lights", made by Juho Rahijärvi.

Yuko Takeda as Jesus Christ in front of the house of Estates, Säätytalo.

The last rehearsal, the first one with costumes and sounds starting in Kaisaniemi park.

The pictures below are from my way to groseries. One beautiful day, in Hell.

This is Marja's courtyard.
Luckily the bike below is not mine. The poor thing, even though it's beautiful it must have been suffering under the snow the whole long winter.
